Name & Gender Correction Session

Downstate Illinois Trans Organization will be holding a name and gender correction session at Morris Library Room 139 (Computer Lab near east entrance), on Tuesday, October 7th, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Volunteer peer support will be available to help you complete forms and discuss your questions concerning legal name changes, birth certificate correction, and more. Volunteers are familiar, often from personal experience, with the name and gender change correction process. While we are offering support, neither this organization nor any of it's volunteers are offering legal advice, representation, or other service of this kind.
