Carbondale Park District beginning karate classes

Spring—a time for renewal, for beginnings, for something new. It’s a perfect time to empower yourself and join the Carbondale Karate program!

Our beginning karate classes start Monday, March 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Center. No experience is necessary. We hope you’ll join us there—and feel free to bring a friend or sibling with you.

Don’t delay—our next session won’t take place until midsummer. Why wait that long? Start learning these valuable life skills and realize their benefits as soon as possible.

Students will learn:

• Self-defense

• Sports and physical fitness

• Personal growth

We accept students ages 10 and older, and we welcome adults.

This eight-class session will only cost $40 for district residents and $44 for non-residents.
